Due to the current economic climate companies are forced to make tough decisions. We’ve seen a drastic reduction in the workforce. With the national unemployment numbers approaching record highs, the competition for limited positions has become fierce. The job seeker that is educated and organized will be the one who has the best chance of finding a new position quickly.
Layoffs have become a necessary cost savings component in ensuring a company’s financial stability. New government programs have been put into play that makes it less cost effective for companies to lay off employees.
